A Day in the Life…
Your day starts by reviewing project briefs—each client with a different voice, goal, and deadline. After prioritizing tasks, you may jump into designing social media graphics for a product launch, refining brand visuals for a pitch deck, or creating ad concepts that align with a campaign strategy developed by the account team. Because time is intentionally limited, every design decision is purposeful, grounded in brand guidelines and performance goals rather than endless revisions.
Throughout the day, you collaborate closely with copywriters, marketers, and project managers. Feedback cycles are efficient and focused, allowing you to iterate quickly and deliver high-impact visuals across multiple clients without being embedded in just one brand.
By the end of the day, you've contributed meaningful creative work, moved several projects forward, and provided various design expertise. It’s fast-paced, flexible, and ideal for a designer who thrives on variety, ownership, and delivering results.

No, this is a white-label position in which you will represent yourself as a member of the Market Veep team. All client work is provided post-sale. We handle sales and client acquisition; you focus on delivery and retention.
Of course! Many of our fractional team members balance Market Veep work with other clients, projects, or commitments. In fact, our best-fit fractional team members have other steady sources of work aside from our partnership.
At this time, there are no structured plans to convert fractional team members into full-time employees.
Graphic Designers are assigned hours on a per-project basis, meaning that the total number of monthly hours may fluctuate. We do our best to keep the workload consistent month-over-month, but it may vary based on client needs and workload availability.
No, it is not a requirement of the role. As this role is primarily focused on producing designs, collaboration is primarily with internal teams. Client communication is often liaised through the Marketing Strategist.
Graphic designers who are comfortable speaking directly with clients, however, may be invited to join or lead meetings with clients as needed.
Success is defined by visuals that elevate campaigns and support measurable results:
- Designs are on-brand, visually compelling, and aligned with campaign objectives.
- Deliverables are produced efficiently and meet client expectations.
- Internal teams can rely on designs to strengthen messaging and engagement.
- Creative solutions are proactive, innovative, and performance-focused.
- Assignments are completed within scope and on time.
