WHAT’S IT LIKE TO BE A
SENIOR DESIGNER AT MARKET VEEP?
In this position, you’ll be the primary support for our team of Graphic Designers and Developers. You will be responsible for assisting them with technical skills, capturing clients’ branding, and generally designing and building successful projects for our diverse clients. You’ll lead content design and development conversations internally as well as join our Marketing Strategists on client-facing meetings, as needed. You’ll lead our internal Quality Assurance efforts across all client design and development projects. You will coach our graphic designers and developers to help them succeed. This position may also be responsible for developing designs for high priority clients and/or Market Veep.
Your Professional Experience:
- At least 1 year of Market Veep Graphic Designer experience.
- Have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of design experience.
- At least 1 year of hands-on HubSpot experience.
- Cross-departmental knowledge such as how content and design impact one another.
- SEO knowledge including website optimization and development best practices.
- Understand how each client’s unique brand should be reflected in their designs.
- Successful production of a variety of design projects, including websites, eBooks, social images, ads, and more.
- Coaching, mentorship, and QA experience.

- Design and development brief development for projects such as websites, eBooks, and more.
- User experience and conversion path design to minimize friction and maximize conversions.

You’ll start your day
with a quick team meeting...
We might chat about the pressing questions in life, like is a hot dog a sandwich? Then we’ll run down our priorities for the day and help each other resolve anything we’re stuck on.
Next you’ll head over to the project management tool and check out your assignments and messages. Many days, you'll be elbow-deep conducting QA on projects from our team of designers and developers, as well as developing design and development briefs for new projects.
You may join one of our Marketing Strategists on a client call or have a 1-on-1 with a developer to discuss a particular project.
If there’s free time, you might soak up some knowledge with a HubSpot certification course or jump on our team Zoom link for an afternoon game of Pictionary.
