Design & Development Lead at Market Veep?
Lead design and development efforts, support your team, and ensure high-quality client projects from concept to delivery. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Team Support and Coaching
Assist Graphic Designers and Developers with technical skills, provide guidance on client branding, and coach team members to help them succeed in their roles.
Project Design and Development
Lead design and development conversations internally, contribute to high-priority client projects, and ensure that all deliverables meet creative and technical standards.
Quality Assurance Leadership
Oversee internal Quality Assurance across design and development projects, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client requirements.
Client Collaboration and Execution
Join Marketing Strategists on client-facing meetings as needed, provide strategic input, and support the development of designs and projects that drive client success.
Your Professional Experience:
- Have at least 2 years of design experience.
- At least 1 year of hands-on HubSpot experience.
- SEO knowledge including website optimization and development best practices.
- Understand how each client’s unique brand should be reflected in their designs.
- Successful production of a variety of design projects, including websites, eBooks, social images, ads, and more.
- Exceptional written communication and ability to develop written SOPs.
- Workflow development and resource management skills.
- Cross-departmental knowledge including content, design, and development.
- Coaching, mentorship, and performance management skills.
What You’re Obsessed With:
- Quality assurance and on-time delivery of design and development projects across multiple clients.
- Design and development brief development for projects such as websites, eBooks, and more.
- User experience and conversion path design to minimize friction and maximize conversions.
- Process development to improve efficiency, profitability, and quality of services.
- Cross-departmental collaboration to ensure the best possible service delivery workflow.
- Bi-weekly 1-on-1’s with designers and developers.
- Interviewing and evaluating production candidates for A-players.
A Day in the Life…
You’ll start your day by checking in with the team for a "good morning" greeting.
Next, you’ll tackle design projects on your docket as well as QA projects submitted by the team. You may spend time managing design and development projects, supporting Marketing Strategists in client meetings, or hosting one-on-ones with Designers and Developers to help them succeed. Process and SOP development may also be part of your day as you identify opportunities for improvement.
