FRACTIONAL STRATEGIST AT MARKET VEEP?
This position is ideal for freelance strategists and consultants seeking to supplement their existing client base with a steady stream of new clients. It's a great fit for strategists who want to focus on strategy work and client communications, rather than constantly seeking new clients when projects conclude.
Our production team handles implementation (writing, designing, building), while the strategist meets with clients and drives the strategy. We have a production manager and a project manager who handle delegating projects, scheduling work, and managing our production team.
In this position, you’ll be the primary point person for our clients and the main strategic mind behind their marketing plans. You will be responsible for analyzing a client’s data, channels, and marketing efforts and crafting a comprehensive strategy that drives toward their goals. You’ll host regular meetings with them wherein you’ll present the latest data trends, make strategic recommendations, and update them on the status of outstanding deliverables. This position may also be responsible for the execution of strategic deliverables.
Your Professional Experience:
- At least 1 year of client management experience
- At least 2 years of hands-on HubSpot experience
- Experience with B2B marketing strategy
- Related Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Strong communication skills
- Collaborative team player who doesn’t mind helping or asking for help

A DAY IN THE LIFE...
FLEXIBLE HOURS MEAN YOUR DAY IS UP TO YOU
Conduct some meeting prep by reviewing the latest project updates delivered by our project manager. Put the finishing touches on a marketing report and head into your client meeting wherein you'll discuss key priorities, campaign deliverables, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations.
After your meetings, you’ll post an update for our production team to ensure they have the necessary information to produce high-quality content, designs, and more for our clients.
On Fridays, join the rest of the team for a casual Happy Hour where we may play a round of Scattegories or discuss the pressing questions in life, like is a hotdog a sandwich?
