Offering hope, healing, comfort, and strength for so many, we are grateful to be able to support these fantastic organizations this month. Donnell House Inpatient Hospice Care, Fidos For Freedom, Mission 22, National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI), Center for Hope, and New Hampshire Association for the Blind will each receive a donation of $100.
Donnell House Inpatient Hospice
Mission: To serve our aging community with a continuum of high-quality caregiving options, provided in a Christian environment, and to serve those with limited funds to the best of our ability.
A mission of caring! That's Concordia Lutheran Ministries and specifically the Donnell House Inpatient Hospice. Since 1881 this dedicated organization has been serving the aging community. Providing love, healing, and comfort to the elderly, they go beyond meeting their physical needs.
We learned of this great organization from Laureen, one of our graphic designers here at Market Veep. She had a lot of great things to say: “The Donnell House provides compassionate hospice care in Washington, PA. When my grandmother took a turn for the worst 2.5 years ago, she was taken in with kindness at the Donnell House. COVID was at its height and making it difficult for family members to travel and visit due to the ever-changing rules. They took my many calls with such patience and understanding. They not only provided her with the best care, but they made sure that my family and I got the closure we needed. They made sure that I stayed on the phone with her, even if it was difficult. They helped me through one of the most difficult times of my life and I will be forever grateful.”
When we hear stories like that we can’t help but want to donate and support such a wonderful organization. Inspiration like that needs to be shared and promoted!
Fidos For Freedom
Mission: It is the vision of this organization to increase the quality of life and provide companionship to the residents of our local community through specially trained service dogs, hearing dogs and therapy dogs.
Fidos For Freedom works to increase the quality of life and provide companionship to those in need through specially trained service dogs. And the ways they help are many! Service dogs are trained to help those hard of hearing, those with disabilities, and those suffering from PTSD. This great organization also provides opportunities for kids struggling in school, creates disability awareness, and more. A dog really can be a person's best friend!
Mission 22
Mission: Mission 22 is a national community supporting active service members, Veterans, and their family members, through three areas of focus: Support & Treatment Programs, Social Impact, and Memorials
Founded by Veterans, Mission 22, gives a personal commitment to helping Veterans and their families thrive. When a Veteran's mission ends, their mission begins. Through this largely volunteer effort, they continue to make a national impact. Mission 22 recognizes that a Veteran’s experience is a family’s experience – families live through all of the ups and downs that soldiers returning home do. We’ve developed a support program exclusively for spouses to take positive steps that renew their identities as individuals and the strengths they bring to their households. They served, they sacrificed, so we support, and we donate.
NAMI NH - National Alliance on Mental Illness
Mission: NAMI New Hampshire is a grassroots organization working to improve the lives of all people affected by mental illness and suicide through support, education and advocacy.
NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is a grassroots organization working to improve the quality of life for all. Building a better tomorrow through support, resources, and education. We can all benefit from their great work! They provide opportunities for people, in a safe and comfortable setting, to share each other’s pain and promote hope. Together they are working hard to find help for those suffering and for their loved ones. This is one organization that truly saves lives!
Center for Hope WNY
Mission: We offer legal advocacy, mental health counseling, financial advisement and holistic healing services because we want to help you build your strength in every area of your life.
The Center for Hope offers more than just support. With legal advocacy, mental health counseling, and financial advisement, theirs is a holistic approach to recovery. They know how important it is to begin to learn how to make yourself a priority again. At the Center for Hope, classes are offered, education is given, and stability is provided for every individual. They help build strength in every area of life!
Future In Sight
Mission: To advance the independence of persons who are blind and visually impaired.
For over 100 years, Future In Sight has been providing essential services and support to those who are visually impaired. Through their holistic continuum of care, they provide individuals with vital services that allow them to live with confidence and dignity. Each service plan is tailored to meet the unique goals of the client. They create independence without vision. We can see the possibilities a donation gives!
