“Play Games. Heal Kids.” It’s easy! Gamers go on a 24 hour gaming marathon, often streamed online, to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (and the hospitals’ COVID-19 Impact Fund). Extra Life launched in 2008 to honor a little girl who died of leukemia — the same disease that took my fiance’s younger brother’s life when he was just 4 years old.
